Our mission is to support community and backyard gardeners, promote urban agriculture, and host educational networking meetings.
Memberships:
BENEFITS INCLUDE:
Participate in 30 to 40 Strader's plant donation drops: annuals, perennials, veggies, houseplants, trees, all FREE to current GCGC members.
Attend monthly meetings (usually the first Thursday each month) with guest speakers, special training presentations, open discussions, community updates, and special projects.
Excellent networking opportunities with other local gardeners, community food growers, and urban farmers.
Information about various city and county grant opportunities.
Food safety awareness training, beginning with soil preparation, growing, harvesting, transportation, storage and canning of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Everything in the Backyard Gardener Membership, plus double the value scaled for a full garden site and its growers.
Participate in 30 to 40 Strader's plant donation drops: annuals, perennials, veggies, houseplants, trees, all FREE to current GCGC members, with larger quantities available to plant out a full shared garden or distribute among your garden members.

Assistance from GCGC with securing material resources needed for your garden site, including tools, soil, seeds, and infrastructure that serve a group of growers rather than a single plot.
